We are delighted to be in the 10th season of the University of Iowa String Quartet Residency Program. The UISQRP continues a long tradition of fostering the highest level of string quartet playing and chamber music instruction at the University of Iowa. Each year, this exciting program brings nationally recognized string quartets to the University of Iowa School of Music for extended residences. This model is the first of its kind and continues to generate a buzz on the national chamber music scene. It is deeply rewarding to be a part of this invigorating and innovative approach to integrating chamber music into a university curriculum and a larger public, and the success of UISQRP speaks to the wonderful vision of our School of Music and the University of Iowa. UISQRP was also featured as the cover article in the IowaMusic Magazine. It is a great article and really speaks to the breadth of this program. Check out the link!

Students enrolled in String Chamber Music work with me at the University of Iowa and also have the opportunity to work closely with the visiting quartets and other School of Music faculty through coachings and master classes. If you want to learn more about the UISQRP offerings or what it means to study chamber music at the University of Iowa, please do not hesitate to contact me. Please take a moment to explore our site, and get to know the quartets who are coming to campus this year, and we hope to see you at an upcoming UI String Quartet Residency Program event.
